Cunkuang graduated from the University of Bristol (UK) with an LLB (Second Class Honours, First Division) in 2015 and was ranked Joint Fourth Position for the 2015 Part A Singapore Bar Examinations. Cunkuang was admitted to the Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2017.

Cunkuang has experience in insurance disputes involving personal injury claims at the State Courts and the High Court levels, and also in other commercial litigation and international arbitration matters involving various issues such as contractual claims.

Cunkuang is also actively involved in the Firm’s admiralty and shipping disputes as well as insolvency matters. He also assists with family and matrimonial disputes.

Cunkuang is also experienced in medico-legal matters and has acted in the defence of doctors, dentists and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, encompassing professional disciplinary hearings before the Singapore Medical Council, the Singapore Dental Council, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board and appeals to the Court of Three Judges.
